ARARAT - Youthful exuberance aplenty will hit the big stage when the Ararat Football Netball Club hosts Dancing With Our Stars at the Ararat Performing Arts Centre on October 18.
Our two youngest stars, the 12 year old duo of Emma Rusden and Ellie Jeffery from Ararat West Primary School will be looking to wow the audience at this night of nights.
Both girls are in grade six at Ararat West and have plenty of dancing experience behind them.
Ellie has attended Donna's Dance Studio for four years, while Emma has been dancing at the same place for three years.
The pair both love dancing and also play basketball, while Emma adds gymnastics and swimming to her list of things to do.
With music tastes ranging from Rihanna to Pink, and a dancing background, one thing is for sure, these two girls will excite on the night.
Dancing With Our Stars sees nine couples hit the floor for a great night of entertainment, and also to raise funds for various worthwhile charities.
Emma and Ellie are raising funds for the Cystinosis Foundation but more specifically, the Holcombe family, who have twins Imogen and Gabrielle who have been diagnosed with the disease.
As part of this fundraising the girls will be holding a sausage sizzle and raffle at Ararat Safeway tomorrow.
First prize in the raffle is $1000 worth of vouchers donated by Ararat businesses and also a $200 gift hamper, while second and third prize also offer vouchers to local businesses.
The girls would like to sincerely thank all Ararat businesses who have donated towards their cause.
With less than three weeks until the big event, excitement is building as the girls work overtime to prepare a routine fit for a pop princess.
With limited tickets available, anyone wanting a balcony seat should contact Murray Jensen for further details.
